I’m proud to share that my robotics team, Stratford Preparatory Blackford Robotics Team 10252, received the Entrepreneurship Award at CalGames 2026. As the Business Outreach Lead, this recognition was especially meaningful to me because it highlights something I’ve learned through robotics: there is so much more to it than just building robots. Running a successful team also requires leadership, financial planning, sponsorships, community outreach, and creating opportunities for future members. The judges recognized our efforts to build a sustainable robotics program, including supporting FLL and FTC teams through funding, refurbished equipment, and mentorship, as well as developing a cascading training model to pass down knowledge to newer members. This award builds on our team's previous achievements, including the Rookie All-Star, Rising All-Star and Judges’ Choice Awards, and reflects our continued commitment to building an organization that can grow, support others, and make a lasting impact beyond competitions.
