First Coding Competition

I’m thrilled to announce that our team, the Jumping Javas, placed third in the novice division at this year’s Lockheed Martin CodeQuest competition! As first-time participants, we faced the challenge of solving complex programming problems within a strict 2.5-hour time limit. CodeQuest, Lockheed Martin’s premier programming competition, tests high school and college students’ coding abilities, algorithmic thinking, and teamwork under pressure. Despite the intense competition from numerous talented teams, our collaborative approach and problem-solving strategies helped us secure a place on the podium. It was a fantastic experience dealing with real-world problems like those faced by Lockheed Martin’s software engineers.
