My First Client Website

I recently designed and built my first client website for D. Kamra, author of The Brief Reign of Princess Julia Grant.

The goal was to give his debut novel a polished online home that felt professional while still reflecting the story behind the book. Throughout the process, I used Claude to help me plan the site structure, think through design decisions, and refine the content. It helped me move quickly and deliver a finished site before the publisher’s deadline.

More than anything, the project made me realize how much I enjoy building websites for other people.

I want to keep doing this long-term, working with authors, small businesses, and creators to turn their ideas into polished websites.

I’m excited to start taking on paid projects in the near future.
